As the Chief Risk Officer (CRO), you will be leading the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) efforts for Corebridge Bermuda, focusing on risk management, internal controls, and governance. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Setting up the risk management framework and internal controls
  • Ensuring reinsurance transactions align with the company's risk appetite and provide economic returns
  • Overseeing the risk management strategy and evaluation framework
  • Chairing the Risk and Capital Committee
  • Providing a risk perspective and challenge to transactions and strategies
  • Working closely with the business to balance growth, profitability, and risk
  • Leading key risk frameworks and producing risk reporting for transparency
  • Owning the annual risk reports and conducting stress testing
  • Establishing governance for approval of transactions and decisions
  • Collaborating with Operational Risk and Technology Risk staff

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Demonstrated risk mindset and ability to effectively challenge
  • Experience in Life and Annuities Insurance / Reinsurance
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in using risk models and data investigation
  • Understanding of capital and liquidity implications from risk changes
