Office Administrator

Responsibilities:

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required includes:

  • Experience in a busy office environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a clear and pleasant telephone manner (good written/spoken English essential)
  • Previous experience with Sage 50 is essential
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills, must be able to multitask
  • Capable of working on his/her own initiative, with good organisational skills and the ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Communicate effectively with customers on the phone for taking and processing sales orders
  • Liase with warehouse team in the handling of both inbound and outbound orders
  • Ensure all queried invoices are actioned promptly
  • To assist in managing the sales ledger and progress payment with customers, following up with statements and similar written requests for payment.
  • Support with purchase ledger entry ensuring all invoices are processed correctly, matched to purchase orders and goods received notes and ensure all payments when made are matched to the supplier invoices and reconciled with supplier statements in a timely manner
  • Filing and various other administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the office
  • Maintain office cleanliness and organisation
Hours of Work 8:30 -17:00

Salary - £25,000 per annum
