Line Leader
We are looking for an experienced supervisor to join our busy biscuit packing department.

The role includes;

  • Effectively control & monitor the daily operation of Packing Lines and follow agreed Operating Procedures and work instructions
  • Utilise labour correctly ensuring the correct number of employees are working on the line redeploy any additional people to other lines
  • Meet quality standards documented on QAS
  • Keep employees motivated and ensure that production targets are met
  • Liaise with Section Leaders to ensure sufficient packaging is available to meet daily production requirements
  • Complete all checks (Quality, weights, PPE etc.) required on Line Inspection Sheet while making sure they are factually correct
  • Monitor & keep waste to a minimum
  • Efficient product changeover and line clearance
  • Ensure that Health & Safety regulations are followed
  • Ensure that food safety rules are always followed
  • Company rules are followed
  • Management of employees including managing performance, issuing files notes & ROCs
  • Ensure all employees are treated fairly & consistently with dignity & respect & be aware of different cultures while embracing diversity
  • Actively promote a positive food safety culture within the department and the factory as a whole
  • Ensure cleaning, hygiene and housekeeping standards are maintained and are audit ready
  • Organise effective staffing for breaks


To be considered for this role you must have previous supervisory experience as a large part of the role is to manage staff.

Hours of work are Monday-Thursday 07:00-16:15
