Red Deer Village is a very successful, family-owned business located in Stepps, Glasgow. We are a well established holiday park with a Scottish Tourism 5 Star rating. The holiday park offers self-catering accommodation for rental as well as touring and tent pitches. As well as thi, we sell residential accommodation within our luxurious over 50s Residential Park.

Where you come in...

We are looking for an experienced receptionist/administrator to support with the day to day running of the Holiday Park and the Residential Park.

Working hours would be 10-20 hours, rising to 30-40 hours over our high season in the summer.

Main Responsibilities

  • Answering telephone and dealing with enquiries
  • Taking bookings
  • Calculating and printing/sending invoices
  • Processing debit/credit card payments
  • Cashing up till daily
  • Interacting with visitors, handling complaints
  • Reading gas and electricity meters
  • Managing distribution of electric cards and keys
  • Following company Health & Safety procedures and policies
  • General cleaning, washing and inspecting toilet/shower blocks, offices and rental units
  • Ensuring park and facilities remain a high standard and are kept clean and tidy
  • Other ad hoc duties as required

  • Ability to be flexible, adaptable, reliable and innovative
  • Time management skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Must be dependable, trustworthy and have the ability to multi task and learn new skills
  • Experienced in using Apple computers as well as a mixture of Apple and Microsoft software including Numbers, Pages, Word, Outlook and Excel is preferred
