Job Description

We are looking for a Regional Director of Business Development to join our London team. The role will focus on business engagement in the field of architecture, real estate, investment and construction management and is dedicated to revenue generation and growing and nurturing our network of clients and partners. Prior experience working with UK's construction companies is essential.

The role:

With proven prior experience of business development, you will apply this knowledge to the role of Regional Director of Business Development where you'll oversee the day-to-day sales and marketing of Patriarch's group in the UK primarly, but potentially, based on your profile and interest, could be broadened to missions in Northern Europe and other EMEA markets. This role will be pivotal in expanding our client base, increasing our market presence, and driving the company's financial growth. You will be expected to work independently to identify and secure new opportunities on behalf of the business in accordance with the regional business plan.

Responsibilities & tasks:

  • Creating, maintaining and developing our network of relationships with key clients and organizations, ensuring a steady flow of incoming opportunities in the field of architecture, real estate and construction management.
  • Assist in the process of tailoring Patriarche offering to expand and meet customer demands. Regularly analyse market trends, competitor strategies, and industry standards to identify and capitalise on new business opportunities.
  • Be the link between the Client and Project Teams to ensure the collaborations are successful and client needs are met.
  • Lead and collaborate with internal teams to develop winning proposals, ensuring they align with client requirements and company strengths.
  • Set up and continuously develop attractive marketing and sales material.
  • Together with Senior Management and communication team set and execute the marketing strategy.
  • Monitor, measure, and report on business development initiatives' success, making necessary adjustments for continuous growth.
  • Ensure the communication team is provided with relevant content on a continuous basis.

Represent Patriarche at conferences, industry events, and seminars to showcase our capabilities and build strategic relationships.

Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A natural networker, with business flair and an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and resilience to build new relationships, as well as creativity and energy to activate previous clients.
  • The ability to communicate the opportunities whilst understanding the challenges organizations face.
  • French speaking would be advantegous.
  • Comfortable with frequent regional and international travel.
  • This role requires autonomy, personal drive, and a 'hands-on, can-do' attitude.
  • Detailed knowledge of the UK architecture, construction and real estate industry, including contractual structures and financial arrangements
  • Track record of delivering large and complex projects in the same sectors.
  • Demonstrable history of securing large-scale projects and achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and strategic planning abilities.
  • Willingness to travel as required for client meetings, presentations, and industry events.

Aptitude

  • Lifelong learner with a passion for developing people and organizations.
  • Experienced in business development with a minimum of 12 years' experience in commercial revenue generation.
  • Natural networker with proven track record of driving success by fostering a culture that embodies self-leadership, constant learning, and creative collaboration.
  • Demonstrated strategic and digital business acumen with the ability to quickly and incisively diagnose a client's biggest business challenge.
  • Ability to uncover key insights through ongoing conversations, discussions and Q&A to guide prospects to an understanding of how the Patriarche offering will benefit their business.
  • Ability to learn at speed how to create learning solutions to solve business problems.
