To support the INERT RECYCLING MANAGER to lead, direct and support the operational staff within the department.

  • Responsible to organise and coordinate the department staff ensuring that the customers are loaded in accordance with the Weighbridge instructions and appropriate cover is provided during all working hours.
  • Lorries are to be loaded to the correct weight and within appropriate tolerance levels for the vehicle concern. No Vehicles to be overloaded above the max gross weight.
  • Oversee the Newlands staff to ensure efficient loading of the wash plant and make sure the recycled aggregates and waste are removed in a timely manner.
  • Ensure appropriate stock levels of loose aggregates and other merchanted products are maintained at all times.
  • Ensure appropriate stock levels of blended productsTopsoil Eco Type 1 etc are maintained at all times.
  • Check cleanliness of stocks and bay signage, action any defects identified by reporting these to the
    INERT Recycling Manager
:

  • Responsible to undertake monthly stock checks and report within 2 working days of month end.
  • Safety performance of yourself the staff working in your area of responsibility. Site rules must be followed at all times by all members of staff.
  • Responsible to ensure that prestart checks are carried out on
    all site/ mobile plant machinery before work commences, any defects must be actioned in accordance with company procedure.
  • To communicate with work colleagues on the yard to ensure that they understand their roles and responsibilities and are kept briefed on what is required.
  • To provide feedback on performance to the
    INERT RECYCLING MANAGER, if the performance falls behind the required standard this is to be resolved by identifying a solution and to action this.
