Position Overview:
Under the direct supervision of a Street Care Supervisor, the incumbent will be tasked with executing cleaning duties at various facilities managed by the council. This role may involve working independently or collaboratively as part of a team, adhering to established schedules and maintaining high-quality standards set by the Street Care department.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform cleaning tasks using appropriate materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and health regulations.
2. Understand and strive to meet the quality benchmarks established by the Street Care department, promptly notifying the Supervisor of any obstacles to achieving these standards, such as malfunctioning equipment or lack of supplies.
3. Report any breakdowns of cleaning equipment or potential hazards in the workplace to the Street Care Supervisor.
Essential Experience:
Previous experience in a similar cleaning role is preferred, particularly in office environments.
Essential Qualifications:
A vocational qualification, such as NVQ Level 1 or an equivalent credential, is desirable but not mandatory.
