Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk selection - identifying risks that positively impact the financial results.
  • Pricing - determining the appropriate rate for the risk.
  • Negotiating pricing and terms to secure business.
  • Risk Management, including selecting risks, interpreting reports, and applying terms.
  • Applying cover restrictions and policy conditions.
  • Resolving technical referrals and disputes on policy terms.
  • Visiting broker panel regularly to foster a strong relationship.

Required Experience:

  • DIP CII qualification or making significant progress.
  • Significant underwriting experience in Property and Liability insurance.
  • Preferably from MGA background, although broker experience will be considered.
  • Demonstrated ability in customer service and communication skills.
  • Legally eligible to work in the UK.

Location: Essex

Immediate Start
