About the Role
A&P has an exciting opening for an IT Tester, an integral role in our Digital Department. If you can answer yes to the following questions, then keep reading as this role could be for you.

You will take a proactive role in our Digital Department working collaboratively with both our front end and backend developers during the testing phases of our digital projects.

We have a diverse range of clients and the testing phase is crucial to the overall success of our digital projects.


Day to day stuff

  • Testing and evaluating client websites across different browsers and devices for functionality, usability, accessibility, performance, navigability, compatibility, form completion
  • Testing for ongoing bugs or fixes on client websites
  • Completing project testing logs
  • Creating new or amending existing website pages via our bespoke content management system
  • Form building via our bespoke content management system
  • Inputting content / uploading images via our bespoke content management system for new or existing client websites
  • Collaborating and liaising with front end and backend developers on projects, either face to face or via Microsoft Teams
  • Presenting identified issues / errors on new client websites to relevant digital team member/s via Microsoft Teams
  • Updating status of projects using our bespoke job tracking system

About You
You're looking to join an ambitious, busy agency and be involved in a range of digital projects. You will be enthusiastic, have keen attention to detail and be a confident communicator.

Essentials and desirables we require for the role:

  • Essentials:_
  • Further education qualifications (A Levels or NVQ Level 3) or equivalent
  • Good level of communication skills using a variety of styles
  • Good level of attention to detail
  • Logical approach towards solving problems
  • An understanding of working to deadlines
  • Good working knowledge and understanding of MS Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams
  • Desirables:_
  • Computer science qualification (degree or equivalent)
  • Ability to work independently yet comfortable working collaboratively in a team
