The successful applicant is a Professional with hotel or restaurant experience to join our Reservations department.

In this role you will be working closely with the Reservations and F&B Management to assist with the smooth and efficient running of the operation, supervising a Team of 5 members whilst maintaining internal and external communication to The Ritz London standard.


As a Dining Reservations Supervisor applicant for The Ritz London, previous experience in a similar position within a four or five star property or operations with high call volume is essential, as well as a pro-active sales drive and a true passion for guest satisfaction and team management.


The role will require the successful applicant to manage the day to day running of the department, lead the team in conjunction with the Rooms Reservations and Groups Management and ensure that all F&B Reservation enquiries are accurately managed on a daily basis.

The Supervisor will be required to assist the team to complete tasks and answer calls when necessary and communicate effectively with all departments in the hotel.

A sound knowledge of Food and Beverage procedures and Customer service skills will assist you in understanding what is required to exceed budgets and to achieve excellent results.


Entry Requirements:

  • Experience in hotels, restaurants or departments with high call volume is essential
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Enthusiastic in delivering service excellence
  • Possesses the ability to work under pressure and has strong organisational skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Has an excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written
  • Displays a polite and professional attitude to internal and external guests
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead a team
  • Confidence to manage the team and communicate with Management
  • Ability to work flexible shifts

Desired Skills:

  • Fluent in a second language
  • Experience in reservation departments
  • Previous role as Supervisor or Team Leader
