You will be working independently, as well as closely with the EHS Manager across the North London, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire regions; as well as collaborating with other EHS Solutions Partner on larger national corporate projects, working in a vibrant,fast paced environment where you can demonstrate your flair for administration, customer service and championing health, safety and environmental awareness.

What we're looking for:

  • Qualified to NEBOSH certificate and/or Diploma level in Health & Safety and/or similar environmental qualification.
  • Experience and understanding of EHS legislation as well as experience of working with Fire authorities, Regulators, Government Health & Safety bodies Environmental agencies
  • Team enhancer with a demonstrated passion, enthusiasm and genuine commitment to workplace EHS.
  • Welldeveloped written, engagement, and relationship skills with the ability to influence.

What you will be doing:

  • The EHS Solutions Partner will be responsible for highlighting gaps in the business and putting together EHS actions to rectify any issues. Developing current Health, Safety and Environmental systems making improvements / recommendations to the business.
  • Assistance & advice to all businesses within the region to improve Environment, Health and Safety standards in order to ensure compliance with the country regulatory framework and Saint-Gobain policy
  • Active involvement with the overall regional Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) team to ensure that professional value adding services are delivered to our customers in an effective and timely manner.
  • Promotion of best practice to engender a proactive approach to EHS culture development and achievement of worldclass EHS standards
  • Provision of EHS guidance and support for all sites, management & staff within the region
