We are currently seeking an experienced Estimator to join a leading construction company in Greater Manchester, known for their commitment to quality craftsmanship, innovation, and client satisfaction. Specializing in high-end residential, infrastructure, and commercial projects across the North West, this company offers a dynamic work environment.



Job Description:
As an Estimator, you will be a key player in the pre-construction phase of projects.

You will collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to accurately estimate project costs and develop competitive bids. Your keen attention to detail, analytical skills, and industry knowledge will be crucial for the success and profitability of construction projects.


Responsibilities:
  • Review project plans and specifications to understand project scope and requirements.
  • Perform detailed material take-offs and labor estimates for each project phase.
  • Evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals.
  • Work with project managers to create precise project budgets and schedules.
  • Provide timely and precise cost estimates for client proposals.
  • Analyze cost data and market trends to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
  • Participate in project meetings and offer continual cost analysis and recommendations.


Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in construction estimating.
  • Proficiency in construction estimating software such as Procore, Conquest, etc.
  • Solid understanding of construction materials, methods, and building codes.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical abilities.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
