Job Title: Senior Estimator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our team at Construction Resources Limited. As a Senior Estimator, you will play a crucial role in preparing accurate and detailed estimates, tenders, and budget proposals for our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compile accurate estimates, tenders, and budget costs using company historical data and industry knowledge.
  • Identify opportunities and risks during the tender process and provide recommendations to the Pre-Construction Manager.
  • Liaise with the Business Unit, Pre-Construction Manager, and Bid Manager to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Prepare and present estimating documentation, including tender submissions and presentations.
  • Support the Pre-Construction Team and Delivery Team to successfully secure direct award and negotiated opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Sound experience in construction methodology and estimating process.
  • Broad knowledge of the construction sector and building processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience of managing processes and people.
  • Dedication and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent knowledge of IT systems, including Microsoft Office packages and estimating software.
  • Ability to coach and mentor team members.
  • Strong bid and commercial acumen.
