About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estimator to join our team at Construction Resources Limited. As a Senior Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the success of our business by providing accurate and detailed estimates, tenders, and budget proposals to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and Tendering: Prepare accurate and detailed estimates, tenders, and budget proposals for construction projects, working closely with our Pre-Construction Team and Business Unit Leaders.
  • Project Management: Own the estimating process for individual opportunities and support all team members as required, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of estimates and tenders.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, design teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Commercial Acumen: Identify opportunities and risks during the tender process, and provide commercial guidance to the Pre-Construction Team and Business Unit Leaders.
  • Estimating Software: Develop and maintain expertise in estimating software packages, including Evaluate and Conquest, to ensure accurate and efficient estimating processes.
  • Team Support: Provide coaching and mentoring to junior estimators, and support other estimators throughout the estimating process.
Requirements
  • Experience: Sound experience in construction methodology and estimating processes, with a broad knowledge of the construction sector and building processes.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience of managing processes and people, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Qualifications: A construction-related qualification is desirable, but not essential.
  • Years of Experience: 5+ years of estimating experience is desirable, but not essential.
