We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our team at Construction Resources Limited. As a Senior Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the success of our business by providing accurate and detailed estimates for our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Compile accurate estimates, tenders, and budget costs using company historical data and industry knowledge.
- Identify opportunities and risks during the tender process and provide recommendations to the Pre-Construction Manager.
- Liaise with the Business Unit, Pre-Construction Manager, and Bid Manager to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Prepare and present estimating documentation, including tender submissions and presentations.
- Support the Pre-Construction Team and Delivery Team to successfully secure direct award and negotiated opportunities.
- Sound experience in construction methodology and estimating processes.
- Broad knowledge of the construction sector and building processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience of managing processes and people.
- Dedication and high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent knowledge of IT systems, including Microsoft Office packages and estimating software.
- Ability to coach and mentor team members.
- Strong bid and commercial acumen.
