Datatonic is hiring its first Salesforce/Certinia (formerly FinancialForce) Administrator. This role requires a solid understanding of the interconnectivity of Salesforce/Certinia, and how the solution works. The ideal candidate with have a strong knowledge of the Salesforce/Certinia architecture, data model, and security model.

This person will be responsible for leading the design, development, testing, and maintenance of Salesforce/Certinia-based solutions to support the organization's business processes. Considering the full platform includes Account Engagement (formerly Pardot), Sales Cloud, CPQ, PSA, and Certinia (FFA), we're looking for someone who can focus primarily on PSA and the financial modules within Certinia. Knowledge of Account Engagement, Sales Cloud, and CPQ is an asset.

The Role
  • Working with internal stakeholders to design, develop, test, and deploy robust Salesforce solutions, leveraging Salesforce declarative tools (Creating Fields, Objects, Actions, Sharing Rules, Profiles, Permission sets, Flows, Workflows, Validation Rules, etc.)
  • Managing the administration side of the system in tandem with the Operations team
  • Overseeing the internal Salesforce service desk to resolve bugs/blockers
  • Working with the Strategic Operations Manager to streamline the internal system by building a backlog, prioritizing a subset of the backlog for monthly Sprints, generating release cycle notes, and sharing user documentation
  • Testing all new system releases in Sandbox before they get deployed to production
  • Liaising with the Security team to ensure Salesforce conforms to all security-related policies
  • Working with internal teams to ensure data cleanliness, data accuracy, and data governance
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Salesforce/Certinia Administrator, ideally with a similar sized service-based company
  • Must have hands on experience with Certinia (FinancialForce) specifically FFA and PSA
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce/Certinia architecture, data model, and security model
  • General understanding of accounting and the various processes within the accounting function
  • Basic knowledge of integration techniques and technologies
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and best practices
  • Strong communication skills as will have to liaise with different parts of the business
  • Ability to accurately estimate deliverable requirements into work hours
Nice to Haves
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Hands on experience with with all parts of the current platform (Account Engagement, Sales Cloud, CPQ, PSA, Certinia (FinancialForce)
