About me:

I am a cheerful and active 5-year-old, I am currently in school and live with Autism. I love singing, jumping, running, and mixing things up. I enjoy stacking blocks and love the outdoors and parks. I enjoy going on walks and listening to the birds chirp. I am not yet verbal and have difficulties communicating. I need one-to-one support especially when out in the community. I live with my mum, dad, and two siblings. I need help to go out, socialize and develop my social skills.

About the Job:

The role entails providing support to and from playgroup activities e.g swimming and sport.

I'm looking for a patient person with a can-do attitude who can help and support me in activities I enjoy and allow me to develop my social skills.


Essential:

Experience working or living with children with autism and a good understanding of autism.

Must be comfortable with personal care. Good communication skills.

Can do attitude.

Be hardworking, reliable, committed, honest, and trustworthy with a cheerful sense of humour.

To be calm, patient, and caring.

Good organizational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.

Car owner/driver

English Speaker

Desirable:

Qualifications in caring for a young adult with disabilities and the ability to work flexible hours as required

Hours:

12 hours per month outside of school hours (weekends, school holidays)

Rate and benefits:

£10.55 per hour
