We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Proxycare. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, working closely with our qualified nursing staff to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the delivery of resident care, including personal care, medication management, and mobility support.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting a sense of well-being and dignity.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful team environment, promoting open communication and a culture of excellence.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a care assistant or support worker role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work schedules and tasks.
  • Basic knowledge of care principles and practices, with a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
  • DBS clearance and two professional references.
