About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to patients, including washing, dressing, and feeding
  • Assist patients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of patient care plans, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Successful completion of the Care Certificate within 12 weeks of appointment
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Knowledge of personal care and related procedures, clinical observations, and relevant legislation
  • Willingness to undertake further study to achieve competency levels required
