Job Duties:The Healthcare Support Worker will be responsible for providing support to individuals within a health and social care setting. Duties include assisting with personal care, administering medication, supporting daily activities, and ensuring the well-being of clients. The worker will also maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
Required Qualifications:- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Health and Social Care
- Valid DBS check
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team
A minimum of NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
Experience:Prior experience working in a health and social care environment is preferred
Knowledge and Skills:- Understanding of health and social care practises
- Ability to provide compassionate care
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- NVQ Level 3 or higher in Health and Social Care
- First Aid certification
The Healthcare Support Worker will work in a care home or community setting, providing care to individuals with various health and social care needs. The role may involve shift work, including evenings and weekends. The worker should be prepared to work in a fast-paced and sometimes challenging environment, requiring patience, empathy, and professionalism.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
