Pre Press Operator/supervisor

Winter & Simpson are looking for a Pre Press Operator/Supervisor with a strong print background to join our fast paced Studio.

This role would be Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm. Salary is negotiable depending on previous print experience.

You must have good organisational skills, be able to plan can plan the workflow and supervise the department and liase with the production, estimating and management teams whilst also being hands on.

Job Requirements

  • Carrying out digital file checking, preparation, impositions and output to various proofing and printing devices
  • Print / Packaging manufacturing experience
  • Platemaking experience
  • Experience of working with prepress workflows
  • Good knowledge of the print process is essential
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into actionable tasks
  • Knowledge of colour separations, press layouts, print specifications
  • Producing work on time to the highest standard, good attention to detail
  • Creative Design skills desirable but not required
