You will focus on coordinating continuous improvement in Environment, Health and Safety with a focus on Zero accidents, Sustainability and our Net Zero targets.


  • You will have a real passion for the Environment and Sustainability, driving improvements and a desire to positively influence and develop those around you.
  • It would be a real positive if you had experience in Ceramics and / or Refractories and ideally you will have a recognised EHS Qualification.
  • With great networking skills you will have the ability to influence and build relationships with our site teams.

What will I be doing in the role?


Our EHS and Sustainability Coordinator role is new role to the PCR business, and we see this as a key driver to our continued focus in this area.

Your main responsibilities and challenging activities will see you;

  • Promoting a culture of safe working within the plant by championing best practice, standards, engagement, risk management, and communication
  • Developing, implementing, and embedding a Sustainability plan for the Rainford plant and roadmaps to align with key Saint-Gobain Objectives and Targets for 2030 and 2050
  • Working with our Worldwide Sustainability and EHS Manager for PCR in the development of Life Cycle analysis for the sites products and processes and Best practice EHS
