Our fabulous #Teamburn is now recruiting for outgoing and compassionate *female colleague who is adaptable to join our friendly, well established team as a Support Practitioner in Irvine .

We recruit on values and transferrable skills, so you don't need experience or qualifications to start your career with us. We have our own Training Academy that'll give you all the skills you'll need, including the opportunity to complete your SVQ.

The Role

With a focus on maintaining and promoting independence, you will work in a person-centred way to provide support in all aspects of daily living, including cooking and preparing meals, personal care, administering medication and managing personal finances. You'll be enthusiastic and take an active interest in her hobbies which include getting out for walks, watching movies at the cinema and going to the disco for a dance.

As the lady we support has her own mobility car it is essential you hold a full UK driving licence with a minimum of 1 year experience on the road .

To be a great Support Practitioner, we'll need you have;

Great communication skills. Able to think outside the box. Caring attitude and approach. Positive approach to learning. Able to follow guidelines. Confidence in the use of technology.

Shift Patterns

We provide tailored support and our team follow a rolling rota with 24 hour shift patterns. You shift will start at 10am until 11pm, sleepover and then 7am until 10am the following day. Our sleep over shifts are paid at varying rates depending on how long the shift is.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.

If you're successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.
