About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Practitioner to join our team in North Ayrshire. As a key member of our community support team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with various support needs, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individuals with daily living tasks, including meal planning, cooking, appointments, household tasks, finances, medication, and personal care.
  • Encourage and support individuals in pursuing their hobbies and interests, promoting social interaction and community engagement.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and other stakeholders to ensure seamless support and care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with individuals, their families, and carers.
Requirements
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A caring and empathetic approach, with a commitment to promoting dignity and respect.
  • A positive attitude towards learning and development.
  • Confidence in using computers and digital tools.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable).
