Children's Play Worker

We are looking for child carers and play workers to supervise groups of year olds at a children's craft table at a North London pub (The William, Kensal Green) on Saturdays 10.35am-3.20pm.


Alongside your colleague, you will set up the activities, oversee children and help them with the activities while parents relax at a nearby table.


Requirements:

- must be happy to work in a pub setting (the pub is food-led and family friendly)
- at least 1 year of childcare experience
- competent at doing craft activities with kids
- happy to oversee a group of year olds; helping them play games / draw / make

  • DBS checked (ideally on the Enhanced update service).
  • Ideally first aid trained but not essential
- availability Saturdays 10.35am-3.20pm
- live within a 45 minute commute from the location

Skills:
Great with children, reliable, warm, friendly, excellent customer service, punctual, conscientious

You will work on a freelance basis. We offer great flexibility. No need to formally ask for leave. We work around your availability and just ask you to commit to a minimum of 2-3 shifts per month.


The William will be your main location but you will be able to pick up extra weekend shifts at our other venues across London if desired.


Ideal for teaching assistants / teachers / childminders / nursery workers / nannies to work around their studies / regular work.
