Our client is a distributor, supplying specialist chemicals & processes to Semiconductor, Printed Circuit Board, Electronic / Industrial Metal Finishing, Photovoltaic and Advanced Packaging Technologies.
What we need from you as a Customer Service Advisor:
- You will have exceptional communication skills and customer service experience (office based or retail)
- Excellent standard of English with good written and numeracy skills
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
- Be a confident user of IT, in particular MS Office Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
- Comfortable at all levels, being prepared to manage customer expectations
- Establish & maintain good relationships with customers and colleagues
- Professional confident telephone manner
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Good attention to detail
What the role involves:
- Reporting to the Customer Services Manager, your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Liaise with customers, transport, warehouse, sales and other departments
- Update and amend company internal IT systems to ensure all customer related details are inputted correctly and kept up to date
- Process sales orders by recording all the necessary information required and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations
- Prepare customer quotations ensuring price and units requested are correct
- Ensure customers are kept uptodate on any shortages, lead times or delivery delays
- Contribute to improvements in relation to quality and productivity within the Customer Service team
Salary/hours:
£24,000 per year, reviewed annually (January). Working Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm. 37.5 hours per week.
