Main Duties of the Job: Manage and supervise the Older Adult Community Mental Health Team Provide leadership to ensure efficient and effective team performance Ensure all standards of care are met and maintain a high-quality service

Job Responsibilities: The role involves overseeing the management of the CMHT caseload, leading the nursing team, and coordinating clinical care within the community. Additional responsibilities include setting care standards, participating in care pathway development, and implementing new initiatives based on evidence-based practices.

Person Specification:

Education/Qualifications Professional qualification in Health/Social Care Experience working with Older Adults in a health or social care setting Post-registered or post-graduate relevant study/experience as a mental health community practitioner Willingness to undergo further training relevant to the specialist practitioner roleExperience Practitioner experience in mental health services People management experience Knowledge of mental health legislation and the Care Programme ApproachSkills and Abilities Manage complex clients and care packages Supervise and support practitioners Provide specialist advice and trainingWork Related Circumstances Ability to travel as required Flexible work schedule Access to a car for mobility Compliance with Trust policies and DBS disclosure
