Our client is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to be part of their Design team and report to the Head of Technical. If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity, here's what you need to know:

  • CNC Programming:
    • Read and interpret engineering drawings and models for CNC programming
    • Create 2D CNC programs for machining insulation panels
    • Advise on tooling requirements and cutting processes
    • Focus on producing efficient cutting programs through continuous improvement
  • Product Design:
    • Develop customer-specific design solutions from existing 3D models
    • Enhance 3D modeling skills and capability for creating designs from scratch
    • Create manufacturing bills of materials and drawings for sheet metal parts
    • Prepare assembly drawings and bills of materials for insulation kits
  • Quality:
    • Support manufacturing and fitting teams in addressing production issues
    • Collaborate with the quality team to resolve non-conformities
    • Assist in scoping damage repair work for insulation kits

Requirements for the role:

  • Experience with 3/5 axis CNC routers
  • Proficiency in 2D CNC programming software and CAD software
  • Competency in 3D CAD modeling software and basic engineering drawings
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • HNC in an Engineering Subject is a plus
