Cambridge Regional College has an exciting
apprenticeship opportunity for an ambitious person keen to get into marketing to join our Marketing team; working at both our Cambridge and Huntingdon campuses (and remotely at times).


You will join us on a full-time basis and in return you will receive exposure to a wide range of marketing activities with the opportunity to build your experience and expertise alongside gaining an apprenticeship.


About our Department and Marketing Assistant Apprentice role:

You will be joining a busy and friendly marketing department and will be supporting delivery of a variety of marketing campaigns for current and prospective learners and stakeholders.


This role is open to those leaving school, college or university, early on in their marketing career or changing careers, as such experience of marketing is not required, but any related experience or demonstrable skills are highly desirable.


You will have:

  • Excellent IT Skills in Word, Excel and across Social Media platforms
  • Highly developed organisational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Creative skills
  • Video production
  • Design


Good interpersonal skills
  • Able to establish and maintain effective relationships with clients and external contacts
  • Effective written and spoken communication skills
  • Ability to deliver to deadlines and manage multiple deadlines
  • Able to work proactively with initiative.
You will have a desire to develop in the following areas and demonstrable skills or experience in them is highly desirable:

  • Copy writing
  • Social media
  • Event planning and delivery
  • Quick to learn new systems and technology
  • Content writing and producing.

You will be:

  • Confident and flexible to work in a dynamic environment
  • Enthusiastic and selfmotivated
  • Have an open and friendly disposition
  • Innovative and creative
  • Acts with integrity in a trustworthy manner

Qualifications
You will hold a relevant Level 2 qualification and have maths and English GCSE at grade 4-9.
