Apprentice Technician

Permanent, full-time role, Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

Location - Working from our Lincoln branch

Basic salary of £13,770 with opportunities to make bonus

The role of an Apprentice Technician;

As an Apprentice Technician, you'll be servicing our customers across the Midlands area. Travel further afield may also be required, subject to workload.

What will you be doing?

You will strip and replace timber floors, door frames, architraves, windows and doors You will be required for the removal of plaster, prior to installing damp proof courses You will be required to carry out timber treatments such as woodworm sprays and fungal decay work There may be an element of patch plastering involved in this role Our specialist technicians also carry out basement waterproofing work, and structural defects repairs, such as wall tie installation and crack-stitching

In your first year, you will be working with an Apprentice Mentor who will teach you the skills to become a world class Property Services Technician. You will be enrolled on to our Internal Customer Services Apprenticeship Scheme which will teach you the people skills needed for such a dynamic service role. Our business is measured on the highest level of customer service and after twelve months, you may be enrolled onto a nationally recognised Joinery or Plastering Apprenticeship dependent upon the business need.

Requirements

We would love you to have:

A can-do attitude, and able to use your own initiative in tricky situations Great communication and customer service skills with a keen, enthusiastic and friendly approach Passionate about delivering a world class service to our customers Willingness to work in a practical role where you will "get your hands dirty" Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces

Although we do not need you to have a UK driving licence for this role, we will expect you to gain your licence within the first 12 months of your employment with us or this can restrict grading moving forward.
