The role:


You'll work alongside experienced professionals, gaining practical experience of Project Management and Surveying, whilst you study towards a relevant qualification with a leading University.

You'll play a key role in delivering a range of project management related tasks and assisting with the delivery of professional surveying services, learning on and off the job.


What you'll be doing:

  • Providing high quality administrative support for our design and construction projects enabling us to complete projects on time, within budget and to the highest quality
  • Collecting information from sites and meetings with Clients, ensuring it's recorded accurately on our systems on a timely basis
  • Assisting with the preparation of reports, contract documents and specifications
  • Assisting in the production of estimates and cost plans for projects
  • Providing support and developing your understanding of basic contract administration duties including change control and cost reporting
  • Undertaking reviews of sites to understand and record risks, reporting back to Senior colleagues
  • Checking works have been completed to a high level, liaising with contractors and third parties where necessary
  • Working closely with Clients, you'll undertake placements with them to give you a greater understanding of their needs and limitations
  • Preparing and updating tracker documents to record progress in relation to various contractual matters such as section agreements, planning and handover information

What you'll need:

Qualifications

  • 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English at grade 4+ or C+
  • 48 UCAS Tariff points or equivalent

Knowledge

  • Confident user of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint)
  • A willingness to learn more about building construction and design
  • Full UK driving licence and access to transport
