Client Details


Page Personnel have partnered with an exciting multi-national business who are now looking to add a Lead Transport Planner to lead their current team of Transport Planners.

The client is a leader in their industry specialising in the distribution of machineryacross the UK

Description
As a Lead Transport Planner you will be reporting directly to the Operations Supervisor and can expect to have the following responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for planning the routes of circa 25 vehicles (predominately artics)
  • Lead the team in processing orders in a timely manor and planning cost efficient routes across the UK
  • Ensure all routes are planned in line with WTD
  • All Drivers must be fully briefed and debriefed

Profile
The successful Lead Transport Planner will come with the following skill-set:

  • Previous manual planning experience is essential
  • Previous planning experience within a FMCG or multidrop experience is desired
  • Planning routes for artic vehicles is desired
  • Previous people management experienced is a nice to have but not essential
  • Transport Planners looking to move into a people management role are encouraged to apply

Job Offer
