Role Purpose:


The post is based in the Collaborations Department and provides support with regards to registry related matters for the University's collaborative partners.

The Collaborations Registry Officer is accountable to the Collaborations Manager for the delivery of administrative processes pertaining to all aspects of the University's student lifecycle.


The post-holder will deliver front-line administrative services to the University's collaborative students and staff, maintaining a customer-service based approach to the delivery of services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Registering students from collaborative partner institutions studying for University of Buckingham awards.
  • Checking the accuracy of data provided by partners.
  • Maintenance of collaborative partner student records making amendments when student information changes such as suspension of studies, withdrawals etc.
  • Preparation of letters, final transcripts and degree certificates for students studying at collaborative partner institutions and assisting in checking the accuracy of these documents.
  • Handling or referring enquiries from collaborative partner staff and students.
  • Assisting in the preparation of statistics and reports on collaborative partner students and staff for internal and external use. This can be both planned and ad hoc.
  • Responding to requests from Collaborative partners for information or assistance.

  • A good knowledge of the UK higher education award structure.
  • Ability to work with relational databases / experience of using SITS database.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Appreciation of other countries higher education culture and systems.
