Our Insurance, Wealth and Retirement business is looking for a Head of Transformation Planning & Readiness to coordinate our significant portfolio of initiatives, ensuring they are scheduled in a safe and efficient manner and land well when implemented.

A bit about the job:
Leading a small team, you will have responsibility for development and maintenance of a comprehensive Transformation Schedule.

This schedule will be informed by dependencies, inflight & planned change initiatives, release management, operational capacity to support and absorb change, third party delivery plans, regulatory commitments, and other corporate initiatives.


You will also:

  • Set out planning standards across our business. Assure that actual delivery is in line with the agreed schedule and act where divergence occurs
  • Enhance and maintain our business readiness mechanisms
  • Build on and enhance how we engage and plan for Subject Matter Expert (SME) engagement into our initiatives
  • Ensure we have a quarterly process to stand back and see if our agenda is still achievable
  • Articulate plans and roadmaps in a way that is simple, insightful and executive friendly

Skills and experience we're looking for:

  • A planning and scheduling expert, someone who has done this before and is familiar with industry standard methodology
  • A pragmatist that also recognises the strong discipline that is required across a complicated and interrelated portfolio
  • Successful delivery of change in a sophisticated business environment
  • Exceptional partner management skills coupled with senior level influencing, relationship management and troubleshooting
  • Proven strong commercial awareness and analytical skills

  • London salary Circa £140,000 and National salary Circa £120,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
