SUMMARY OF ROLE


To be accountable & responsible for the day to day running of the Installations department ensuring all aspects of the company's policies & procedures are adhered to at all times.

To ensure all key performance indicators are achieved across all areas to include managing & developing the team & individuals, productivity, health and safety, customer care requirements & quality.

Role & Responsibilities

  • To consistently achieve Thermabead Ltd.'s core competencies in relation to customer focus, communication, health & safety & quality, teamwork & managing & developing the team.
  • Achieve daily and weekly install target.
  • Ensure all new & existing employees are trained in departmental procedures & regular performance reviews are undertaken & recorded, identifying areas of performance that may require additional training or coaching & take action to implement solutions.
  • Ensure quality of install through, training, inspection, monitoring and reporting.
  • Effective communication with all departments, crew members and customers.
  • Attend department meetings as required.
  • Identify ways to improve production processes & take action to implement solution.
  • Always ensure we have received the best price for all items purchased.
  • Ensure all crews vehicles and equipment are maintained to a high standard.
  • To deal with all remedials swiftly and professionally.
  • Establish & maintain systems for measuring staff development & targets & objectives.
  • Manage & develop your team to ensure team & individual motivation is achieved & to develop key behavioral competencies.
  • Undertake any other reasonable task as required by the company.
Key Performance Indicators

  • All installed works booked in to be completed within timeframes allocated.
  • All paperwork to be completed correctly and handed in to office.
  • Remedial level less than 5% of total work installed.
  • Reporting on all crews to be completed weekly.
  • Monetary spend on vehicles and equipment to be within agreed levels.
  • Vehicles and equipment to be kept to a high standard.
  • Internal audit pass rate to be at 90% or more.
  • Annual staff turnover less than 10%.
  • External BBA and KIWA assessment pass rates to be 90% minimum.
