Commercial Assistant


Searching for a highly organised and friendly Commercial Assistant to join a successful team based in the City of London, near London Bridge.


Duties / Responsibilities Include:

Commercial:

  • Ordering of materials via COINS purchase ledger
  • Processing purchase orders and delivery notes for supplier payments
  • Reconcile purchase card transactions
  • Commercial review of Maximo assigning chargeable job status and costs to work orders
  • Prepare client quotations and maintain quotation registers
  • Maintain and update commercial records as directed
  • Identify any unnecessary costs and inefficient activities.
  • Assist in the timely preparation of valuations, submissions of invoices and receipt of payment.
  • Assist in the prompt preparation and settlement of final accounts, including variations, claims and disputes.
  • Make best use of knowledge management information systems. (Maximo, COINS.)

Administration:

  • Ordering and maintenance of consumable stock levels
  • Process holiday, expenses and overtime claims as required
  • Review Maximo reports and chase outstanding jobs as required
  • Collating engineers reports and time sheets to assist service delivery

Skills and Experience:

  • Commercial Experience (Advantage)
  • Worked with (Maximo, COINS.)
  • Committed
  • Advanced Administrative Skills
  • Excellent IT Skills in MS Office, Excel is Essential
  • Previous experience working within the Construction Industry are (Desirable)
  • Precise with good attention to detail
  • Quick learner with a can do attitude

  • You will join a friendly, progressive team and report directly into the Group Financial Director.

HOURS:

  • START DATE
  • W/C 18TH MARCH
  • START TIME: 8AM
  • PAY RATE £14.45 P/H PAYE DIRECT 40 HOURS PER WEEK
