Lincoln, Lincolnshire, United Kingdom Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust Full time
Are you looking for new opportunities to develop your interest and experience in eating disorders and be part of a team at the forefront of exciting new developments and making a real difference?

Come join our service - we have a fantastic opportunity for a Band 4 Adult Eating Disorder Service Occupational Therapy Assistant.

If you have a genuine interest in people, eating disorders, occupationally focused interventions and looking to work in a multi disciplinary specialist eating disorder service, this is an ideal role for you.

Lincolnshire Eating Disorders Services are expanding countywide and are seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join us in enhancing community services and improving experiences for service users and their carers.

We are looking for a creative and highly motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant who wants to join a well-established and rapidly expanding adult eating disorder service.

The Occupational Therapy team is truly multidisciplinary - currently consisting of a Service Manager, Team Manager/Nurse Specialist; Lead Occupational Therapist, Consultant Psychiatrist, Counselling Psychologist, CBT Practitioners, Nurses, Dietician, Assistant Practitioner/Psychological Interventions Facilitator, Peer Support Worker and supportive Administrative staff.

As a highly valued member of the team, you will work alongside the Occupational Therapist to deliver both individual and group interventions, across the county, working in collaboration with the wider multi-disciplinary team.

You will support the Occupational Therapist in facilitating meaningful interventions to service users in the community, aligned to the principles and models of Occupational Therapy.

This will cover the areas of self-care, vocational, domestic, leisure, social skills and promote self-management and coping strategies as part of an individual's intervention plan.

Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust provides mental health services and a number of learning disability, autism and social care services in the county of Lincolnshire.

Employing around 2,900 staff, and serving a population of over 768,400, our people lie at the heart of everything we do.

You could be part of a Trust rated by staff as one of the best mental health and learning disability trusts in England.

We firmly believe the key to high quality care is a contented workforce. This is reflected in our Care Quality Commission rating of 'outstanding' for well-led and 'good' overall.

In the most recent National NHS Staff Survey, our staff rated us as the number one trust nationally for staff morale and one of the top scoring NHS Trusts in the Midlands for being compassionate and inclusive.

We're really proud of this

We offer options for flexible working and provide a wide range of training and promotion opportunities in all professions.

We support and celebrate diversity, have active staff networks groups and are always looking at what more we can do to support our staff.

Please see the attached job description for the main duties.

The Trust is a great place to work as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.

You will have access to clinical and managerial supervision and have the opportunity to link in with other OTA's within the Trust.

We offer a comprehensive induction programme and a wide range of CPD (continuous professional development) opportunities to enable you to further develop your skills in relation to your role.

Staff wellbeing is important to us. We are open to discussing flexible working patterns which enable you to have a positive work/life balance.
