Key Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a team to manage a designated workload, maintaining accurate records and accepting accountability for your actions.
  • Provide patient-centered care, utilizing your skills and knowledge to evaluate patient progress and make informed decisions about treatment.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and support the development of Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy staff.
  • Contribute to service developments and training initiatives, enhancing your skills and knowledge to meet the evolving needs of our patients.
  • Undertake administrative and housekeeping duties to support the Therapy service, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Relevant Level 4 qualification (Diploma level) or equivalent Foundation degree, HNC.
  • Experience as a senior therapy assistant or senior healthcare support worker in a hospital or community setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as a member of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, with close supervision and support from qualified team members.
  • Proven ability to use initiative and recognize own limitations, seeking further assistance when necessary.
  • Commitment to supporting the Trust's values and contributing to a culture of excellence.
