Cityworx are recruiting on behalf of a client in the PO16 area, who are looking to take on a Clinical Nurse Specialist.

They are looking for someone who is responsible for:

Leadership and management of the clinical staff.
• Regularly assess client's needs and develop services to reflect this.
• Create and develop care plans, risk assessments and audits.
• Respond to incidents in a professional and appropriate manor.
• Establish and maintain communication with clients, relatives, and staff.
• Coordinate care in line with Best Practice Guidelines.
• Monitoring medication is given in accordance with care plans.
• Delivering training and support to clinical and non-clinical workers.
• The Clinical Nurse Specialist will also be experienced in multi-disciplinaryworking.
• The Clinical Nurse Specialist will focus, in their specific areas ofexpertise, on the continuous improvements in quality and outcomes forthe clients.
• To be involved in sales development within clinical settings.
• To be responsible for the competence-based training and assessmentprocess of delegated health care tasks for relevant staff.

As a clinical lead, you must be/have:


• active PIN number and nursing qualification
• well presented
• self-motivated
• well organised
• flexible
• caring and compassionate
• sensitive to the needs of others and to the needs of vulnerable people
• an active team player but also able to work on own initiative
• a good communicator, both written and verbal
