Responsibilities of Human Resources Generalist:
  • Acting as the primary contact for employees and line managers, addressing all Human Resource inquiries and supporting the Director of HR in daily operational HR tasks.
  • Providing internal HR guidance and assistance, ensuring consistent application of company policies and processes while promptly handling all HR issues.
  • Managing and assisting managers in Employee Relations matters from initiation to resolution, covering areas such as grievance, disciplinary actions, and escalation to the Director of HR when needed.
  • Conducting exit interviews to identify key trends.
  • Offering advice to managers on recruitment and selection strategies.
  • Tracking essential recruitment metrics such as turnover and retention rates.
  • Managing the appointment process for successful candidates.
  • Collaborating with HR peers to foster a unified team approach for continuous improvement within the department and the organization.
  • Supporting cases related to maternity and paternity leave, flexible work arrangements, and other HR practices.
  • Providing necessary training to the team when required.
  • Assisting in recruitment activities as needed, which includes drafting job descriptions, creating job ads (internal and external), conducting interviews, issuing offer letters, preparing employment contracts, and handling contract modifications.
  • Compiling monthly reports and contributing to various HR projects.
  • Supervising and evaluating staff performance, career growth, and appraisal procedures.
  • Managing all Personnel Files, including file audits, electronic management, and compliance with internal audit procedures, DPR & Data Protection regulations.
  • Identifying, procuring, and organizing training programs from internal and external providers.
  • Demonstrating sound judgment and autonomy in adhering to established HR policies and procedures.

Skills & Experience of HR Advisor:
  • Significant generalist experience in the Financial Services sector, preferably within an SME/Start-up environment.
  • Hands-on experience in Employee Relations, project involvement, and knowledge of Labor and Employment Law.
  • CIPD Level 5 certification.
  • Outstanding communication and problem-solving abilities.
