SEN Student Support + Additional Training


A modern, supportive Primary School located in the Borough of Wandsworth is looking to fill 2 x Unqualified SEN Student Support positions for a January 2023 start.

This a perfect opportunity for a graduate who is seeking first-hand experience working withchildren with additional needs.

In an Unqualified SEN Student Support position, you will be supporting children who have been diagnosed with Autism/ASD, ADHD, pupils with behavioural difficulties and children with SEMH.

This is a
long-term role, for the
full academic year.

The Headteacher at this friendly, inclusive school is searching for graduates with a genuine passion for SEN/Mental health to join their dedicated staff team.

Roles available for this Unqualified SEN Student Support position include:1 x 1:1 Support for a pupil with ADHD

1 x SEN Student Support for two children with behavioural difficulties

Job description:

  • Unqualified SEN Student Support
  • Supporting children with a range of SEN across year groups
  • Working with children with Autism / ASD, ADHD, SEMH and behavioural difficulties
  • Working in a Primary School with CPD opportunities
  • Liaising with the Classroom Teacher and SENCo to ensure the students' needs are being met
  • January 2023 Start. Full Time & Long Term
- £80 - £95 per day

  • Must have a good degree from a reputable University
  • Good understanding of SEN is required
  • Experience in a previous role, or personal experience with SEN would be ideal
  • Passionate about supporting children with SEN
  • You must be able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Calm and compassionate nature
