The Children and Young Peoples' Directorate are seeking a dynamic, proactive and highly motivated individual to join the Outpatient administrative and clerical team who takes responsibility and pride in providing high level and timely service.

You will be an integral member of the team providing effective day-to-day clerical support to facilitate the smooth running of the department.


Duties include but are not limited to booking, rescheduling outpatient appointments as per Elective Access Policy booking rules, monitoring electronic Patient Tracking Lists and clinic utilisation, performing appointment reminder calls, answering the telephone, intercom, meeting and greeting staff, patients and visitors, maintaining up to date electronic records, meeting National NHS targets.

Our paediatric team provide a wide range of specialist and general services for children and young people.

The majority of our services are based at St Mary's Hospital, which is also home to our paediatric A&E department and paediatric intensive care unit.

We also offer some services at Hammersmith and Queen Charlotte's & Chelsea hospitals.

Whilst employment for this role is hosted by Imperial College Hospital NHS Trust (ICHT)
- , the post-holder may be required to work for WLCH across Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust. The post holder will be bound by the terms and conditions of employment of ICHT.
