As an experienced Mental Health Nurse (RMN) from the NHS or private sector, you'll join a team that works in close partnership with Staffordshire Police and Mental Health Services, and you'll join a Trust that puts people at the heart of what we do.


We provide inpatient facilities for older adults' mental health problems and we are looking for caring, compassionate individuals to work within our older adult inpatient team who are committed to providing high-quality care and treatment to our patients.

What you will be doing:

  • Delivering highquality clinical service to patients and their families.
  • Acting as named nurse to a group of patients under the direction/supervision of the person identified with continuing responsibility.
  • Participating in therapeutic group work programs.
  • Taking charge of the ward in the absence of the ward manager and deputy ward manager.


You will be responsible for assessing care needs and contributing to; the formulation of the person's needs and the development of a relevant plan based upon the person's negotiated goals and relevant evidence-based interventions.

In conjunction with themulti-disciplinary team, you will provide nursing interventions to support the person to meet their agreed goals and coordinate and/ or participate in the review of progress towards those goals, utilising recommended outcome measures, involving the serviceuser and any identified carer throughout the clinical pathway.
