Are you our next Sales Assistant?
Can you support us in helping our loyal customers with indoor and outdoor plants, garden equipment and garden furniture sales? If so, we want to hear from you.
We are looking for colleagues to join our existing teams in both our plants area and our garden furniture showroom.
Hours are flexible on either a full or part time basis, but you must be able to work the weekend shifts on Saturday or Sunday on a rata at least every other week.
Part time hours available:
Saturday between 09:00-17:00, Sunday between 10:00-16:00. There may also be options to provide cover during the week.

What will I be responsible for?
Joining our sales assistant team, you will be based in either our plants area or our outdoor leisure showroom.
Therefore, some knowledge of retail sales is a must along with an interest and or knowledge in plants, outdoor furniture, BBQ's, fire pits and garden accessories would be a distinct advantage.
Your Key Accountabilities:
You will provide excellent customer service at all times, be confident using the till and our computer systems. While we will provide training, basic computer skills and confidence using technology is a must.
While you will be part of a small team, you may have days where you will be working on your own, so you must be an organised self-starter.

The Palmers Group is based in Yeovil and is a family owned group of businesses which include a Garden Centre, Café/Restaurant, Tyre fitting and MOT Workshop, Lock n Load self-storage business and fish and chip shops.
