Job Opportunity: Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with autism and additional learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with autism and additional learning needs
  • Assist with activities both indoors and outdoors, including animal care and therapy
  • Work collaboratively with the pastoral lead and teaching staff to develop and implement individualized plans
  • Support students with personal care and daily living skills
  • Participate in community activities and outings to enrich students' wellbeing and community access
Requirements:
  • Experience working with students with autism and additional learning needs
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a calm demeanor
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
