Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Learning Support Professional to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a Learning Support Professional, you will work closely with our team to provide support to students with special educational needs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support Student Engagement: Utilize strategies from students' Positive Behaviour Support Plan, Communication Plan, and Sensory Diet to provide support to students to engage effectively in learning.
- Collaborate with Tutors: Work closely with Tutors to follow session plans and schemes of work within Education, and report on the progress of students to inform future planning.
- Develop Learning Resources: Develop learning resources that are individualized to meet students' communication needs.
- Interdisciplinary Approach: Liaise with Education, Care, and Clinical staff to provide a multi-disciplinary approach to supporting outcomes for students.
- Enrichment Activities: Support students to engage in a range of enrichment activities, including accessing local leisure facilities or day trips.
