About the role

We're looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our established team as a Functional Analyst. You'll be working in a demanding environment – we look after the ERP (integrated finance, procurement, HR and payroll system) and other similar business systems used by 15,000 people in nine different organisations.

Our purpose is to provide digital and technology support for the systems shared by West Northamptonshire Council and our partners Cambridgeshire County Council, Milton Keynes City Council and North Northamptonshire Council. You\'ll join us on our journey as we create better end-to-end services for our councils and residents.

This role is based in Northampton, however we also offer remote flexible working.

What will you be doing?

As part of one of our small teams specialising in a particular functional area, you will be responding to technical requests, resolving complex incidents and undertaking developments in the systems we support.

About you

We need someone who is able to work to deadlines as well as prioritise, organise and manage their own workload. You'll need great interpersonal skills and be able to represent our service in a positive and professional way, communicating effectively with a range of stakeholders.

You must have strong technical background knowledge and understanding of financial systems, as well as be interested in how IT applications, particularly databases, work. Knowledge and experience of Unit4 Business World would be an advantage.
