You will also make sure that all regulatory, compliance, professional standards and employment law are in place, ensuring the Council operates in line with local and national policy.
Working closely with elected councillors especially Cabinet members, you will support them in undertaking their community leadership and policy and decision-making roles.
We are seeking candidates with great people skills and a determination to support change and transformation.You will of course also have the appropriate knowledge of employment law and practice and of workforce transformation, job evaluation, work processes and budget management as well as CIPD membership.
