Job Title:

PermanentSanctuary Personnel is currently seeking a passionate and forward-thinking Dependency and Recovery (D&R) Service Manager to become a valuable asset to the team.This position is all about assisting adult males within the criminal justice system who are dealing with substance misuse challenges.You will be leading and supervising a committed team to bridge the link between probation and community-based treatment services by offering practical support and motivational interventions.This role involves being physically present, regularly engaging with probation delivery units, correctional facilities, community venues, and other locations. You will be dedicating a minimum of three days a week to meet with staff, collaborators, and participate in essential gatherings.

Service Management:

Oversee the execution of D&R services across specified London boroughs, ensuring adherence to contractual commitments and performance goals.

Team Leadership:

Supervise and nurture Team Leaders and support personnel to sustain exceptional standards and positive results.Create and nurture strategic and operational partnerships with significant collaborators, such as Probation Delivery Units, Senior Probation Officers, and community-oriented services.

Service Delivery:

Guarantee the provision of services in person, implementing interventions within both prison and community environments.

Performance Management:

Establish targets for Team Leaders, oversee performance, and ensure goal achievements.

Strategic Contributions:

Collaborate with top-level management on enhancing services, performance evaluations, and strategic scheming.

Quality and Safety:

Verify that services are compliant with audits, handle risks proficiently, and cultivate a culture of ongoing enhancement.

Experience:

Proven expertise in substance misuse services, dealing with the criminal justice realm, and supervising individuals and performance.

Skills:

Strong leadership, organizational, and time management proficiencies. Excellent communication and partnership establishment skills.Understanding of psychosocial interventions, communal provisions, and pertinent laws and optimal practice benchmarks.
Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and database supervisory systems.

Qualifications:

Applicable certifications in business, leadership, or management (or in progress).Thorough comprehension of substance misuse services and criminal justice structures.
Experience in contract supervision, data management, and executing service enhancements.
Consideration for equality, diversity, and inclusivity.
