The Assistant Product Developer will be responsible for product development and improvement, ensuring customer satisfaction. Collaborating closely with the Design & Product Manager, they will research, propose ideas, and oversee the design process.

Key Responsibilities:

Product development

  • Support in product development to align with customer needs for both wholesale and exclusive customers.
  • Assist in creating the range plan.
  • Engage in cross-functional teamwork.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to maintain cost and quality standards.
  • Conduct ongoing material and trend research.
  • Directly communicate with factories/suppliers during product development.
  • Manage product costings and pricing.
  • Address product inquiries across departments.

Sample

  • Monitor sampling costs.
  • Prepare showroom with samples.
  • Oversee protos and samples delivery.

Trade shows

  • Support trade show logistics.
  • Work closely with Design and Product Manager.

Market Research

  • Conduct competitive shopping.
  • Review categories and generate new ideas.
  • Attend exhibitions and trade shows.
  • Analysis
  • Use category reviews for product decisions.
  • Travel as needed.
  • Candidate requirements:
  • Open to graduates and entry-level candidates with internship experience.
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Team player with initiative.
  • Must have own transport.
